Five paintings for two locations of a popular local restaurant. Sultan gave me the freedom to design and create these scenes which suggest a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern locale. The general idea was a foreground subject in sharp definition against a background in soft focus. This creates the illusion of depth and large scale space, thus unflattening the walls.
